LSU women’s basketball signee Mikaylah Williams to compete with Team USA at FIBA 3×3 U18 World Cup
LSU already has a bona fide 3×3 superstar on its roster in Hailey Van Lith, who competed with Team USA this summer. Now, it has a rising star in that event in signee Mikaylah Williams.
The five-star prospect and No. 1 player in the 2023 recruiting class will compete with Team USA at the FIBA 3×3 U18 World Cup in Debrecen, Hungary, from Aug. 30 to Sept. 3. Williams won a gold medal with Team USA last summer and is the reigning MVP from the last two 3×3 World Cups.
Williams will join an LSU roster this season that is absolutely loaded, but she could make an immediate impact as a true freshman on a team that expects to repeat as national champions after landing two of the top transfers in the country in Van Lith and forward Aneesah Morrow.
Mikaylah Williams will play in the FIBA 3×3 U18 World Cup with Team USA in Debrecen, Hungary from August 30-September 3!
