LSU offers rising star in-state safety
Brian Kelly and his staff recently offered one of the biggest risers in On3’s latest On300. Kelly is continuing to recruit the Boot at a very high level.
Joel Rogers is a four-star, 6-foot-1, 185-pound safety from Saint Francisville, Louisiana, where he plays for West Feliciana High School.
The Saints finished the season 13-1 with a loss to Lutcher in the third round of the 4A playoffs.
There are no Crystal Ball projections at this time but LSU is a 78% favorite per On3.
Film Analysis: Rogers is a speedster that does a great job sitting in the right spot in zone coverage and jumping routes for interceptions.
