LSU offers No. 1 JUCO defensive lineman in the nation

Brian Kelly is looking to beef up the defensive line next year as he has offered the No. 1 defensive lineman in the junior college ranks. He will have to sweep him away from another SEC foe to do it though.

Jaden Hamlin is a 6-foot-5, 315-pound, four-star defensive lineman from Summit, Mississippi where he plays for Southwest Mississippi Community College. The SMCC Bears are off to a rough start in the 2023 season as they won their first game but lost five games in a row since then.

There are no Crystal Ball projections for Hamlin but Mississippi State is a 98% favorite to land him per On3.

Film Analysis: Hamlin is as strong as an ox. He can take on a double team and still make a tackle in the backfield.
