LSU baseball score vs. Florida: Live updates from College World Series 2023 final

OMAHA, Neb. — It all comes down to this.

LSU baseball is one win away from a national championship, as the Tigers will face Florida in Game 3 of the 2023 College World Series final on Monday (6 p.m. CT, ESPN).

LSU (53-17) lost to the Gators in Game 2 of the series on Sunday in historic fashion, 24-4. LSU jumped out to an early 3-1 lead but went on to surrender 24 unanswered runs.

But, to take a 1-0 series lead, the Tigers defeated the Gators (54-16) in Game 1 on Saturday in 11 innings, 4-3. LSU designated hitter Cade Beloso's solo-home run in the 11th was the difference, as left-handed reliever Riley Cooper shut the door in the bottom of the inning to close out the victory.

Florida had a 3-2 lead entering the eighth inning, but LSU tied up the score on a solo home run from Tommy White which eventually sent the game into extra innings.
