Lou Williams, Raptors beat Magic, 95-82

The Orlando Magic turned it over on 19 possessions and only totaled 13 assists in a disappointing performance in which they were defeated by the Toronto Raptors, 95-82. Toronto (19-6) is now on a three-game winning streak.

Lou Williams came off the bench and scored 18 points on 6-14 shooting from the field (1-5 from behind the arc) and 5-7 from the free throw line. Other top performers for Toronto were Kyle Lowry with 17 points and eight assists, and Patrick Patterson with 10 points and six assists. Despite the loss, Tobias Harris put up 18 points for Orlando on 8-15 shooting. Nikola Vucevic contributed 13 points and nine rebounds.

The Magic dished out 13 assists versus 19 turnovers, a ratio of just .68. They are 3-6 on the season when committing more errors than assists in a game. The Raptors, on the other hand, are undefeated (3-0) when forcing opponents beneath 1.00 in assist-to-turnover ratio.

Orlando (10-17) has now dropped three straight games to Toronto.

Coming up next, the Raptors square off with the Brooklyn Nets, who are 10-12 on the year. The Magic meet the Boston Celtics, currently 8-14 this season.
