Loren Walker signs with Pratt Community College

Mar. 1—Tahlequah Lady Tigers' softball's Loren Walker confirmed her future with Pratt Community College. The senior softball signed her NCAA Letter of Intent with the Kansas school.

"Loren has been a very hard-working and dependable player for our program," THS Head Coach Chris Ray said. "I can count on one hand the number of practice and summer workouts that she missed during her four years at Tahlequah. Her dedication and work ethic."

Over her four-year career, Walker has been a key in the outfield. As an underclassman, Walker played right and left field. Walker finished out her final two seasons as the starting centerfielder. Walker provided a solid bat for the Lady Tigers picking up a career batting average of .285 and an on-base percentage of .349.

"Her dedication and work ethic exemplify the culture our program is built upon. I am very proud of Loren and happy that she has the opportunity to continue her playing career at Pratt," Ray said.
