Look: Rams QB Stetson Bennett is training in Texas

The Los Angeles Rams selected Stetson Bennett in the fourth round of the draft last year but he didn’t appear in a single regular-season game. In fact, he spent the whole year on the non-football illness list for an undisclosed reason, leaving fans to wonder what the future holds for the former Georgia quarterback.

Les Snead and Sean McVay have been non-committal about whether Bennett will be back with the Rams in 2024, indicating he may not return next season. Bennett has rarely been in the public eye since landing on the NFI list last year, only making one appearance at a Georgia football game in November.

However, on Monday, he posted a video shared by APEC trainer Mason Hays on Instagram showing him working out in a group down in Texas. Bennett looks a bit bulked up in the video, suggesting he could be staying in shape for the 2024 season.

He can be seen wearing a blue shirt in the video below.

None of this means he’ll be back with the Rams next season but it’s a good sign that he’s at least working out and trying to stay in shape for his second season in the NFL. That being said, McVay said recently that the Rams don’t feel they have a backup quarterback on the roster right now.
