A look at Matthew Stafford’s career against the Vikings

It looks like Matthew Stafford’s career with the Lions is over.

With Stafford likely moving to a new team, and likely outside of the NFC North, it’s worth reflecting on how Stafford performed against the Vikings throughout his 12-year career in Detroit.

Stafford was 8-13 during his career against the Vikings. In those 21 games, he threw for 5,176 yards, 31 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. He was sacked 68 times in those games, the most any team in the league has sacked Stafford.

Where will Stafford end up next?

That’s a great question. In the NFC, places like San Francisco, Washington or New Orleans make sense. In the AFC, teams like New England, Indianapolis and Denver could use a boost.
