It's the Fine 50. Or, maybe we will call it the Nifty Fifty.

Or, better yet - the Fab 50.

We are trying something new in the Battle Creek Enquirer.

We are listing the top 50 high school football players in the area and we are asking readers to vote for who will end up being the Enquirer Player of the Year when the season is over.

It's the 2023 Battle Creek Enquirer Preseason Player of the Year poll.

No games have been played yet, and some players haven't served notice that they are ready for breakout years. But here's a preseason list of possible choices.

You can vote for who you believe to be the preseason Battle Creek Enquirer Player of the Year below.

The list of athletes was gathered from the collection of players to watch for the area, both offensive and defensive standouts from a year ago.
