A sight no football fan wants to see, no matter which club you support. Liverpool star and the Premier League’s top scorer for the season Mo Salah was carried off the pitch in a stretcher after he collided with Newcastle’s goalkeeper Martin Dubravka in the second half of Saturday’s contest.

Salah added to his goal haul Saturday, scoring the his side’s second goal of the match. With 22 for the season, Salah is well on his way to earning the Premier League’s coveted Golden Boot award.

Origi made good use of his short time on the pitch. An impressive header from the Belgian in the 86th minute solidified a 3-2 victory, putting Jürgen Klopp’s men two points ahead of Man City in a tight Premier League title race.
