FOLLOW LIVE: Week 5 South Shore high school football scores and highlights

With one month of the high school football season in the books, it's starting to hit crunch time.

Teams are jockeying for MIAA tournament position and league titles.

There are six area teams currently standing at 4-0 heading into this week, and nearly all of those teams will face tough competition this weekend. Norwell and Rockland will go head-to-head in a big South Shore League Sullivan Division game. Cardinal Spellman (against Bishop Fenwick) and Milton (against Needham) are both battling fellow undefeated league opponents.

Carver gets its toughest test to date against Cohasset. Hanover will go up against Scituate, and a win brings the Hawks within striking distance of a Patriot League Fisher Division title.
