LSU softball is back in the winners bracket.

The Tigers opened the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional with a shutout win over Jackson State, and will take on Southern Illinois in the winners bracket on Saturday.

SIU enters after a shootout win against California, as the Salukis survived a Golden Bears comeback bid to escape with a 5-4 win. The winner of this game will play for the championship on Sunday, while the loser will play an elimination game on Saturday night.

First pitch is noon from Tiger Park in Baton Rouge. Here's how you can follow along with Saturday's game:
