Can the Jacksonville Jaguars bounce back? They'll get their chance Sunday, taking on the AFC South rival Tennessee Titans at EverBank Stadium. Kickoff is at 1 p.m.

The Jaguars were rocked last week by the San Francisco 49ers in their heaviest loss of the year, including a return of the turnover issues for Trevor Lawrence. The issues aren't just on the field: Jaguars wide receiver Zay Jones was arrested Monday on a domestic battery charge.

The Titans have plummeted to the bottom of the AFC South at 3-6, with rookie Will Levis now installed at quarterback on an offense that ranks near the bottom of the NFL in multiple categories. Still, as long as Yulee native and two-time NFL rushing champion Derrick Henry is on the field, Tennessee has a potential game-breaker.

Jaguars cruise to victory in 34-14 bounce-back game vs. Titans. Here are our takeaways.

After looking completely out-matched last week against the San Francisco 49ers, it was the opposite against the Tennessee Titans (3-7) Sunday with the Jacksonville Jaguars (7-3) looking like the superior team from start to finish, winning 34-14. - Demetrius Harvey

FINAL: Jaguars 34, Titans 14

The Jaguars improve to 7-3 and retain their edge in the AFC South ahead of next week's crucial matchup against the Texans. - Clayton Freeman

Titans try onside kick, Evan Engram recovers for Jaguars

In case there were any doubts... the Titans did attempt an onside kick, but Evan Engram pounced on the loose ball. It's Jaguars football, and C.J. Beathard is coming on now at QB. - Clayton Freeman

Touchdown Titans: Jeffery Simmons catches rare TD from Will Levis

Yes, you're reading that correctly. Defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons entered the goal-line offense at fullback and caught a touchdown pass from Will Levis from 1 yard. Chris Moore set that up, catching a jump-ball pass from Levis to the red zone. The Jags remain in control.

Jaguars 34, Titans 14, 4:28 4th. - Clayton Freeman

Touchdown Jaguars: Trevor Lawrence sprints for second TD of the day

It's Trevor Time again. Beginning with a short field, Trevor Lawrence chewed up five and a half minutes on that drive and finally scrambled around the right end to the house, stretching the football inside the pylon.

Jaguars 33, Titans 7, 7:28 4th. - Clayton Freeman

Fumble: Jaguars punt, but Titans fumble and Ross Matiscik recovers

A highlight moment for a long snapper. The Jaguars' drive stalled out, but on the ensuing punt, Ross Matiscik delivered the snap, raced downfield, ripped the ball from the Tennessee returner and fell on the fumble. It'll be Jaguars ball in Tennessee territory. They lead 27-6 with 12:54 to go. - Clayton Freeman

Touchdown Titans: DeAndre Hopkins catches double pass from Will Levis, Tennessee on board to end third quarter

One play after a hotly-contested roughing the passer flag on K'Lavon Chaisson extended the drive -- Chaisson was called for landing on Will Levis only an instant after the quarterback released the ball -- Tennessee exploits the penalty. It's a double pass, with Derrick Henry taking the snap, and after a couple of pitches, it's in the hands of Levis. He then fired a 43-yard strike to DeAndre Hopkins deep. The shutout is over for the Jacksonville D.

Touchdown Jaguars: Trevor Lawrence to Calvin Ridley combination scores again in rout

They're making it look easy. After the Jaguars stopped Tennessee on third down, with Devin Lloyd and Andre Cisco leading the charge, Trevor Lawrence -- new member of the 10,000-yard club -- conducted a superb drive. Travis Etienne zoomed for one first down and Lawrence punished the Titans' secondary to Calvin Ridley repeatedly, the last on a 20-yard strike to the back left of the end zone that looked a lot like Ridley's first score today.

Jaguars 27, Titans 0, 3:22 3rd. - Clayton Freeman

Touchdown Jaguars: Trevor Lawrence dashes into end zone, Jags pull away

An excellent third-quarter drive for the Jaguars coming out of halftime, and a lot of it came from Trevor Lawrence's mobility. He scrambled to his left on a fourth-down play and floated a pass to D'Ernest Johnson for a gain of 34. Then, from the 9, Lawrence rolled left and dashed for the pylon, diving for his first rushing touchdown of the season.

Third quarter kicks off: Jaguars take over on offense

HALFTIME: Jaguars 13, Titans 0

A good first half is in the books for the Jags. They limited Tennessee to five first downs and 23 passing yards. - Clayton Freeman

Field goal Jaguars: Brandon McManus on target again

Calvin Ridley continues to energize this offense with big plays down the field, the kind of highlights Jags fans have been hoping for. The latest was a long gain to the 15 when Trevor Lawrence threw over the safety blitz. But the drive -- once again -- stalled out in the red zone. After a completion to Evan Engram, Lawrence rolled left and threw just behind Ridley. That led to another Brandon McManus field goal.

Jaguars 13, Titans 0, 0:14 2nd. - Clayton Freeman

Devin Lloyd, Montaric Brown make third-down stop

A good afternoon for the Jaguars' defense continues. Chigoziem Okonkwo caught a short pass on third down, but Devin Lloyd and Montaric Brown combined to down him just short of the chains. That means a Titans punt, and the Jaguars get the ball back with a 10-0 lead and fewer than two minutes left until halftime. - Clayton Freeman

Two-minute warning

Two minutes left in the first half. The Jaguars' defense continues to frustrate the Titans, who will face third and long when play resumes. - Clayton Freeman

Field goal Jaguars: After long drive, pass interference, Brandon McManus extends Jags' edge

After that illegal kick penalty -- only the second on record in the NFL in the last six seasons -- the Jaguars mixed things up nicely. The key play was a defensive pass interference flag on Roger McCreary, who crashed into Zay Jones on what looked like an underthrown pass from Trevor Lawrence. The Jags are also finding more ways to get the football into the hands of Calvin Ridley. After Tennessee's Jeffery Simmons hammered Travis Etienne on a third-and-1 carry, Brandon McManus came on to boot a field goal from 30 yards.

Jaguars 10, Titans 0, 2:43 2nd. - Clayton Freeman

It's a safety blitz: Andre Cisco sacks Will Levis, Jaguars force Titans out of field goal range

Tennessee advanced into field goal range across the 35, but on third down, the Jaguars forced them right back. Andre Cisco arrived on the safety blitz and combined with Josh Allen to knock Will Levis back to the 40. The Titans then punted and picked up a bizarre illegal kick penalty when gunner Anthony Kendall kicked the ball to keep it from rolling into the end zone. The Jags will take over with the ball at their own 11, leading 7-0 with 8:59 left in the second quarter. - Clayton Freeman

Costly miscue: Tank Bigsby offside sets up Titans first down

Bad moment on special teams for the Jags. Tennessee was lined up to punt on fourth and 6, but Tank Bigsby jumped offside on the punt. With fourth and 1 up next, Mike Vrabel elected to keep the offense on the field, and Derrick Henry converted to keep the drive alive at midfield. - Clayton Freeman

End of first quarter: Jaguars 7, Titans 0

That's the end of one at The Bank. Titans quarterback Will Levis has been moving gingerly the last couple of plays after a hard landing on a scramble. A possible storyline to watch. - Clayton Freeman

Touchdown Jaguars: Calvin Ridley brings down Trevor Lawrence pass in corner of end zone

A very good start for Calvin Ridley as the Jaguars make the takeaway count. Ridley drew a key pass interference penalty on Roger McCreary of Tennessee for a first down, and Christian Kirk followed by bringing down a high Trevor Lawrence pass in bounds along the sideline. The Jacksonville offense drove to the 3, and on third and goal, Lawrence lofted a high ball to the back left corner, where Ridley grabbed it and kept his feet in bounds. The Titans appeared to deflect the extra point but it still fluttered through the uprights.

Jaguars 7, Titans 0, 2:58 1st. - Clayton Freeman

Fumble: Will Levis can't handle high snap, Foye Oluokun recovers for Jaguars

Big play time on defense. Just when Tennessee was knocking on the door, after Chris Moore's 38-yard gain on an end-around flipped field position, the Titans committed a miscue. Will Levis couldn't handle a high snap from center, the ball popped up in the air and Foye Oluokun surfaced in the backfield to recover for the Jags.

They'll take over at their own 43 with 7:41 left in the first. - Clayton Freeman

Jaguars' offense struggles early despite Calvin Ridley catch

A nice catch on the sideline by Calvin Ridley picked up one first down, but otherwise, the woes are continuing for the Jacksonville offense. Travis Etienne found no running room on that drive, and after a third-down incompletion, Logan Cooke punted the ball away. No score, 9:19 1st. - Clayton Freeman

Sacksonville: Foye Oluokun, Roy Robertson-Harris swarm Will Levis, Titans go three-and-out

Good start for the Jaguars' defense. They overcame a neutral zone infraction by Travon Walker to blast Tennessee rookie QB Will Levis on third down, with blitzing linebacker Foye Oluokun and Tre Herndon among the players finishing the sack. After a punt, Trevor Lawrence and the offense take over. It's 0-0, 12:22 1st. - Clayton Freeman

Back in 2011 and ‘12, when college recruiters came at him for inside information in waves, then-Yulee High football coach Bobby Ramsay told all of them it’d be foolhardy to consider moving his superstar running back to another position just because he was frighteningly big.
