Recap: IU women's basketball loses to South Carolina in March Madness
The Indiana women's basketball team is in the third round of the NCAA tournament after wins over No. 13 Fairfield and No. 5 Oklahoma.
IU (26-5) is in the Sweet 16 for the third time in four years but faces its toughest test with a matchup against No. 1 South Carolina (34-0). The Gamecocks have cruised through the first two rounds with an average win total of 50 points.
