Fourth quarter
BYU 11, TCU 44
6:18 — Griffin Kell makes a 47-yard field goal. BYU 11, TCU 44.
8:44 — The Cougars go for it again on fourth down but fail to convert. Kingsley Suamataia returned to the game.
12:22 — Siale Esera intercepts Josh Hoover at the BYU 22-yard line and returns it for no gain.
Third quarter
BYU 11, TCU 41
1:20 — BYU turns the ball over on downs in the red zone after a failed QB sneak.
Slovis was almost intercepted by Avery Helm earlier in the drive, but Keelan Marion broke it up. Kingsley Suamataia was injured on the drive.
6:43 — Griffin Kell makes a 35-yard field goal. BYU 11, TCU 41.
10:23 — Crew Wakley was injured trying to tackle Emani Bailey.
10:29 — Will Ferrin makes a 46-yard field goal. BYU 11, TCU 38.
Earlier in the drive, Kedon Slovis completed a pass to Parker Kingston for 42 yards in the Cougars’ longest offensive play of the game. The momentum was erased after intentional grounding from Slovis on the next play.
12:55 — Josh Hoover completes a 14-yard pass to Warren Thompson for a touchdown. BYU 8, TCU 38.
Halftime
The Cougars’ offense had a sluggish first half, including two turnovers. Running back Miles Davis and wide receiver Chase Roberts finally got the offense going late in the second quarter on BYU’s first and only touchdown drive of the game.
BYU possessed the ball for nearly 16 minutes through the first two quarters but put up only 108 total yards, compared to TCU’s 303 yards.
Second quarter

0:40 — Savion Williams catches a 7-yard pass from Josh Hoover for a touchdown. BYU 8, TCU 31.
3:15 — Keelan Marion takes it in 3 yards for BYU’s first touchdown. The Cougars go for the two-point conversion and convert on a reception by Chase Roberts. BYU 8, TCU 24.
Earlier in the drive, Roberts got the Cougars pass mid-field for the first time in the game with a 39-yard reception on fourth down.

9:58 — Kedon Slovis fumbles the ball. TCU recovers and takes over on BYU’s 42-yard line.
10:53 — Eddie Heckard picks off Josh Hoover in the red zone and returns it to BYU’s 25-yard line.
11:40 — TCU blocks BYU’s punt. Horned Frogs take over on their 38.
BYU passed their 30-yard line for the first time in the game thanks to Keelan Marion’s 25-yard kickoff return. Cougars have another three-and-out.
13:20 — Griffin Kell makes a 40-yard field goal for TCU. BYU 0, TCU 17.

0:03 – Cougars can’t capitalize on the defense’s stop. Ryan Rehkow punts the ball out of bounds.
0:39 — TCU goes for it on fourth down on BYU’s 12-yard line but fails to pick up the first down.
7:10 — Cougars come up with a big third down stop and force a punt.
10:09 — Josh Hoover passes to JP Richardson, who goes 42 yards for a touchdown. BYU 0, TCU 14.
