Lincoln-Sudbury catcher Cooper Tarantino commits to Northeastern baseball
The Northeastern University baseball program's MetroWest pipeline is flowing strong.
Lincoln-Sudbury senior Cooper Tarantino became the third area rising senior pledged to the Huskies when he committed Sunday.
The catcher was named a Dual County League All-Star last season.

"I am honored to announce my commitment to Northeastern University!" he wrote on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter. "A special shout-out to my Coaches, friends, and family for their constant support. Thank you for making this possible and I’m excited for what’s next!"
He'll join Franklin's Henry DiGiorgio and Nipmuc's Anthony Ruggiero at Northeastern in 2024. Will Fosberg, a recent Natick High School graduate, is starting his freshman year at the school on Huntington Ave., where he will suit up for the Huskies.
Tarantino's Lincoln-Sudbury teammate, Jake Haarde, committed to Penn State last week, doubling the Warriors' Division I depth.
Tarantino also plays quarterback on Lincoln-Sudbury's football team and is preparing for the fall season.
