Lexington Christian Academy star, UK commit Cutter Boley outlasts Bowling Green in thriller

In what many already are calling the “Game of the Year,” Lexington Christian Academy football stars Cutter Boley and Brady Hensley both produced Mr. Football-worthy performances.

Hensley’s seventh touchdown of the game — an 11-yard run with 27 seconds left — clinched Lexington Christian’s 56-52 victory over Bowling Green on Saturday night in the Rafferty’s Bowl at Western Kentucky University.

Along with the 108 points, the game included 1,309 yards of offense — 800 by Lexington Christian and 509 by Bowling Green.

Hensley, a transfer from Madison Central who earned first-team All-State honors last season, carried 30 times for 402 yards and five touchdowns. He also caught five passes for 87 yards and two scores.

Boley, a University of Kentucky commit considered to be this year’s Mr. Football frontrunner, completed 22 of 35 passes for 342 yards and three touchdowns.
