New sexual assault lawsuit filed against Browns QB Deshaun Watson
A new civil lawsuit has been filed against Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson alleging sexual assault. This lawsuit stems from a massage session in Texas in December 2020. Allowed to return to the Cleveland Browns this week, Watson is serving an 11-game suspension levied by the league after settling nearly two dozen other cases filed against him by massage therapists.
As part of his suspension, Watson was to complete mandatory therapy among other stipulations. This situation, starting with the first case and continuing with each new allegation against him, continues to be exhausting.
A new lawsuit has been filed in Texas against Browns QB Deshaun Watson, according to court records. A massage therapist (Jane Doe) says she was pressured into performing oral sex on Watson in Dec. 2020 during the massage session.

As part of arbitrator Sue Robinson’s ruling in the case over the summer, there was an agreement that no new allegations between 2019 and 2021 would be subject to NFL discipline. Regardless, it is hard not to feel gross about this situation.
