Las Vegas Raiders at Pittsburgh Steelers: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 16 matchup

The Pittsburgh Steelers (6-8) will celebrate the 50th anniversary of "The Immaculate Reception" against the Las Vegas Raiders (6-8). Both teams will re-ignite their rivalry that started with the historic game.

The Steelers will also honor legendary superstar Franco Harris. The Hall of Fame running back died earlier this week. He was institutional in the Pittsburgh community and the team is set to retire his number.

On the field, both teams have the same record and are holding onto slim postseason hopes. A win will go a long way in climbing up the AFC Wild Card standings. The Raiders are finally at full strength and Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett is expected to return to the starting lineup.

Safid Deen: Raiders 24, Steelers 20

The Raiders won a lucky game last week against the Patriots but remain one of the most potent teams offensively with Davante Adams and Josh Jacobs in tow. The Steelers will keep this close at home, but don’t have the weapons offensively to beat the Raiders.

Victoria Hernandez: Steelers 23, Raiders 20

Even though the Raiders have fresh legs with Darren Waller and Hunter Renfrow back from injury (Waller scored a touchdown on his first catch back last week), let's face it, they got lucky in their win over the Patriots. This week, the Steelers are playing for more than this game and, with Mike Tomlin's steadfast belief in Kenny Pickett, they will win one for Franco Harris and his Italian Army.

Jaylon Thompson: Steelers 27, Raiders 23

The Steelers will celebrate the 50th anniversary of "The Immaculate Reception" on Saturday night. It will be an emotional home game as the Steelers honor late franchise legend Franco Harris. The Raiders built momentum with the return of key playmakers Darren Waller and Hunter Renfrow last week. It should carry over on Saturday, but the Steelers will pull this one out for No. 32 in a special way.
