Kyle Williams — who quite possibly was the MVP of the Buffalo Bills victory in Cincinnati — even without Pro Bowl game stats, made a statement that really summed up the outlook of the coaches and players current reality. “We take pretty wins… We take ugly wins… We just take wins wherever we can get them.”

I want to say that again, I’m making that my theme as an avid fan. WE TAKE PRETTY WINS…WE TAKE UGLY WINS…WE JUST TAKE WINS WHEREVER WE CAN GET THEM!

Maybe because Kyle Williams is in his 11th season of both playing in the NFL and playing for the Bills obviously means he has never stepped foot on the green for a playoff game. With his career winding down, this makes his competitive urgency just a tad more intense than the likes of a second year player. He has been healthy this season and he has been dominant this season.

He may need to play super hero the rest of the way with the injuries that have been running wild all over the Bills offensive roster this season. These include the devastating loss of Eric Wood who is out for the year, Sammy Watkins return delayed week after week, Robert Woods and LeSean McCoy leaving the last game with injuries and many more.

Tyrod Taylor has not yet quite proved that he is a regular 300 yard, two or three touchdown passer. He is also lacking the history of leading the team from behind. This along with the injuries on the offensive side of the ball, puts more pressure on the defense to smother the other team and squeak out wins such as the Bengals game.

“Coming down to the wire we talked about it’s going to be an all-day game and each play has a life of its own and it was coming right down to the last play of the game,” Williams said.

The Bills have put themselves in a position where it may come down to the last play of the game while checking the out of town scoreboard determining their playoff fate. That would be nail biting worthy. The other option is losing a game before that possibility pushing their quest to end the drought to next year, something that will be really difficult to digest.

We Take pretty wins… We take ugly wins… We just take wins wherever we can get them.

Well said Kyle; oh captain my captain.

I miss “ R E S P E C T…….Playoffs on the network TV. “

I will take the nail biting option all day long.
