Kyle Busch scheduled to race at Action Track USA in Kutztown on Wednesday

Jul. 15—Kyle Busch, the NASCAR Cup Series star, is scheduled to race at Champion Energy Action Track USA in Kutztown on Wednesday as part of Hyper Racing 600 Speedweeks.

NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Sheldon Creed also is slated to race.

Pits open at 4 p.m., the grandstands at 5 p.m., with the cars on the track at 6:15 p.m. In addition to the 600 sprints, the SpeedSTRS and All-Star Slingshots also will compete.

Busch, 38, is a two-time Cup Series champion (2015, 2019) who has won three races this season and ranks second in the point standings.

In his career, he has 63 Cup Series wins, a record 102 Xfinity Series victories (and a series championship in 2009) and a record 63 Truck Series wins. His 228 total wins in the three series are also a record.

Creed, who currently competes fulltime in Xfinity with Richard Childress Racing, will drive Live Fast Motorsports' No. 78 Chevrolet in the Sept. 10 Cup race at Kansas.

Creed, 25, has raced full time in the Xfinity Series the last two seasons and is 10th in this year's point standings. He competed full time in the Truck Series from 2019-21, winning eight races and the 2020 series championship.

He is scheduled to make his Cup Series debut in Live Fast Motorsports' No. 78 Chevrolet at the Sept. 10 at Kansas Speedway.

The stop in Kutztown is the third of six straight nights of racing for Hyper Racing 600 Speedweeks.

It begins Monday at Greenwood Valley Action Track, followed by Tuesday at Clinton County Speedway.

After Kutztown, racing goes to Airport Speedway on Thursday, Linda's Speedway on Friday and Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway on Saturday.
