KSLL lacrosse state tournament pairings set; Sacred Heart, St. Xavier seek repeats
The Kentucky Scholastic Lacrosse League state tournaments are set for this week in Louisville.
The girls and boys finals are both set for Thursday, with the girls game at 6 p.m. at Assumption and the boys game at 8 p.m. at Trinity.
Sacred Heart is the defending girls champion after beating Eastern 20-6 in last year’s final. St. Xavier has won five straight boys crowns after beating South Oldham 22-14 in last year’s final.
The Kentucky High School Athletic Association will begin sponsoring the lacrosse state championships in the spring of 2025.
Here are the pairings:
Girls
Wednesday (at Ballard) — Kentucky Country Day vs. Assumption, 5:30 p.m.; Sacred Heart vs. Eastern, 7:30 p.m.
Thursday (at Assumption) — Final, 6 p.m.
Boys
Wednesday (at Trinity) — Trinity vs. St. Xavier, 5:45 p.m.; South Oldham vs. Kentucky Country Day, 8 p.m.
Saturday (at Trinity) — Final, 11 a.m.
