What to know from Packers’ first injury report of Week 14

The Green Bay Packers released their first injury report of Week 14 on Wednesday. Matt LaFleur’s team plays the Detroit Lions on Sunday at Ford Field.

Here’s everything to know from the Packers’ initial injury report:

– The Packers placed safety Raven Greene, running back Tyler Ervin and defensive lineman Billy Winn on injured reserve on Wednesday, making it unnecessary to include them on the injury report. All three suffered injuries against the Philadelphia Eagles.

– Edge rusher Za’Darius Smith was a full participant. He was questionable with a lingering ankle injury last week but played. It’s clear he avoided a setback.

– Tight end Jace Sternberger and receiver Equanimeous St. Brown were both out Wednesday after suffering concussions against the Eagles. They are each in the concussion protocol.

– Cornerback Kevin King added a groin injury to his list of ailments, but he was limited.

– Guard Simon Stepaniak was activated from the non-football injury list on Wednesday. He’s listed as limited with a knee injury.

– The Packers removed safety Darnell Savage, safety Will Redmond and cornerback Josh Jackson from the injury report.

– Matt LaFleur held a walk-through practice on Wednesday and participation reports were an estimation.

The Lions were without the following players at Wednesday’s practice: receiver Kenny Golladay, offensive lineman Tyrell Crosby, cornerback Jeff Okudah, and safety C.J. Moore.
