Oregon (9-4) at Oregon State (11-0)

Time/date: 2 p.m. Sunday

Site: Gill Coliseum; Corvallis

TV: Pac-12 Network. Radio: KUGN 98.1 FM.

About the matchup: The in-state rivals, at least on paper, are very similar. The Ducks and Beavers like to win games down low and on the boards. The teams rank third and fourth in the Pac-12 in rebounds per game, with the Beavers hauling in 46.1 per game and the Ducks countering with 42.9. The key will be how effective Oregon’s 3-point defense is against one of the hotter shooting teams in the country, with Oregon State shooting at a 38.2% clip.

About the Ducks: Oregon got a much-needed win in its nonconference closer against Oklahoma State but have otherwise looked uneven in 2023. The Ducks have one of the best trios in the Pac-12 in Chance Gray, Grace VanSlooten, and Phillipina Kyei, but have struggled to find production outside those three, and have really struggled to score at times, ranking in the bottom half of the conference in field goal percentage and 3-point shooting.

About the Beavers: Oregon State is one of just two undefeated teams in the Pac-12, though against a fairly easy schedule this season. The Beavers have just one win against Power Five competition. The Beavers go as far as Raegan Beers takes them; the big averages a team-high 19.2 points and 11.5 rebounds per game as one of the best forwards in the Pac-12. Guard Talia von Oelhoffen runs things from the outside, averaging 10.2 points and 5.2 assists per game.
