2022: Managed 38 catches for 422 yards and 5 touchdowns with the longest play going for 47 yards. Had career-high 108 yards and three touchdowns on six catches in win over Colorado. That was part of a good stretch in which he tallied 35 catches in the last five games of the season. Career-high 10 catches (for 76 yards) came in regular season finale against Arizona. He had 161 yards after contact in that stretch. Only one other FBS tight had more than 100 over the final five weeks (119).

Personal: Represented the Sun Devils at Pac-12 Media Day in Las Vegas, along with NB Jordan Clark. In third season with the Sun Devils after transferring from Oklahoma, the school with whom he signed out of high school but never played a game for. Consensus four-star prospect and top-10 tight end recruit nationally coming out of high school Invited to the All-American Bowl along with his fellow top prospects from the 2020 class 247 Sports ranked him as the No. 72 overall prospect and No. 4 tight end prospect in the country; Also tabbed him as the No. 12 overall prospect in the loaded state of Texas. A member of the Rivals 250 as the No 250 overall prospect and No. 8 tight end according to the publication; Slotted as the No. 2 tight end in the nation by ESPN. Also plays basketball, golf and baseball at Gruver High School. Grew up a big fan of Texas Tech and the Dallas Cowboys.
