The New York Knicks have announced that Kristaps Porzingis suffered a sprained ankle during Wednesday night’s home game against the Miami Heat, but, to the relief of Knicks fans everywhere, X-rays turned up negative.

After initially announcing he was available to return, the team announced that his night was over.

Porzingis suffered the nasty-looking right ankle injury when Miami Heat forward Justise Winslow stepped on his foot. Porzingis had to be helped off the court.
