Knicks' Jalen Brunson earns Eastern Conference Player of the Week honors

Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson has been named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for the fourth week of the 2023-24 NBA season.

This marks the second time Brunson has been named the player of the week since joining the Knicks on a four-year, $104 million contract last summer.

The star point guard helped lead the Knicks to a 3-1 week, including the team's first win in In-Season Tournament Group Play, effectively eliminating the Wizards from contention.

With the Knicks' offense struggling early on this season, Brunson decided to take matters into his own hands. He put together back-to-back 32 point performances against Washington and the Hornets.

Overall, the 27-year-old averaged 28.5 points, 6.5 assists, and 3.5 rebounds per game. He also shot a stellar 54.3 percent from behind the arc and 47.6 from the field.

Brunson and the Knicks will look to keep things rolling Monday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
