Kliff Kingsbury decides not to take Raiders OC job

The Kliff Kingsbury era in Las Vegas lasted only a few days. After it was reported that the Raiders and Kingsbury had come to an agreement for him to be their next offensive coordinator, it was announced on Saturday that he decided not to take that job.

That news was first reported by Adam Schefter of ESPN via Kingsbury’s agent, Erik Burkhardt.

The good news is that the Raiders still have options at OC and one of the names that has to be mentioned is Chip Kelly. The Raiders interviewed Kelly several times for the job and it appears that he was one of the finalists before they decided on Kingsbury.

Look for the Raiders to move swiftly here to find their next offensive coordinator to replace Kingsbury.
