Kidder Co. boys', Griggs-Midkota girls' hoops lose, Linton/HMB boys' win
Jan. 17—WIMBLEDON, N.D. — The Kidder County High School boys' basketball team went on the road to Barnes County North and lost 59-28 on Tuesday, Jan. 16, at Barnes County North High School.
Grady Larson's seven points led the Wolves (1-9). Oliver Hanson's 16 points led the Bison (7-3).
The Wolves return to the court at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 18, when they go to Medina/Pingree-Buchanan. The Bison are back in action at 6 p.m. on Jan. 18, when they host Sargent County.

COOPERSTOWN, N.D. — The Griggs-Midkota girls' basketball squad was unable to pull off the upset as they lost to top-ranked May-Port-CG 73-19 on Jan. 16, at Cooperstown High School.
The Titans (5-9) were led by Vanessa Vollmer's six points. The Patriots (10-0) leading scorer was Rylee Satrom who scored 27 points.
The Titans look to end their skid at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 19, when they go to Warwick. The Patriots attempt to keep their perfect record intact at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 19, when they face off against Hatton/Northwood.

LINTON, N.D. — The No.4-ranked Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock boys' basketball team continued their fast start to the season with a 61-37 win over Ellendale on Jan. 16, at Linton High School.
The Lions (9-0) had three players in double figures including Jace Jochim who led all players with 22 points. The Cardinals' (7-4) leading scorer was Mason Molan with 10 points.
The Lions are back in action at 6 p.m. on Jan. 18, when they go to Edgeley/Kulm-Montpelier. The Cardinals attempt to bounce back at 6 p.m. on Jan. 18, when they host LaMoure/Litchville-Marion.
