Kickoff of Saturday's Crew game against Charlotte FC has been delayed by half an hour due to severe weather in the area. Originally scheduled to begin at 7:39 p.m., kickoff has been delayed until 8:09 p.m., with warmups set to begin at 7:19 p.m.
Weather radars show that the severe weather has moved through the Columbus area, so the delay is not expected to extend beyond the original timeline. The last time the Crew played Charlotte, it was in October 2022 as the resumption of a game originally scheduled for July that was postponed due to weather — but that shouldn't be a problem for Saturday's matchup.
