KHSAA softball district tournament pairings for Louisville area and statewide rankings
As Kentucky’s high school softball postseason gets going this weekend, four of the state’s top 10 teams hail from Louisville.
No. 3 Male leads the way in the MaxPreps.com Top 25 and is joined by fellow Seventh Region rivals Assumption at No. 8, Ballard at No. 9 and Eastern at No. 10.
Male will host Assumption at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the 26th District final. Ballard, winner of two straight state titles, could host Eastern in the 28th District final at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
No. 17 Bullitt East leads the way in the Sixth Region, and No. 20 Oldham County is the top squad in the Eighth Region.
