Kevin Durant, Sam Acho and more included in Texas’ 2022 Hall of Honor Class

On Wednesday, the University of Texas announced the eleven former student-athletes that will be inducted to the 2022 Hall of Honor Class this September.

The ceremony will take place on Sept. 16 in the LBJ Auditorium on the UT campus. It will mark the 68th Men’s Hall of Honor class and the 23rd Women’s Hall of Honor class.

The class is headlined by Kevin Durant and Sam Acho on the men’s side, while the women’s class features B.J. Bedford, Lindsay Gardner and Kate Golden.

Durant is one of the most successful players to ever wear the burnt orange. He was a Collegiate National Player of the Year, three-time Olympic gold medalist, two-time NBA champion, 12-time NBA All-Star and the NBA’s Most Valuable Player in 2014.
