Kentucky high school football games postponed: When Louisville-area teams will play Saturday
Wet weather in Louisville put a damper on the second Friday of the 2023 Kentucky high school football season.
Storms that blew through the region before kickoff caused several games involving notable Louisville teams to postpone. Instead, those games will be played Saturday.
The weekend's schedule includes plenty of high-profile showdowns featuring some of the best teams in Louisville and around Kentucky. Get ready for the action with Courier Journal high school sports reporter Jason Frakes' roundup of the top games in the region.

Christian Academy at New Albany (Indiana) - noon Saturday
North Oldham at DeSales - noon Saturday
Frederick Douglass at Trinity - 2 p.m. Saturday
Manual at Central Hardin - 4 p.m. Saturday
Carroll County at Kentucky Country Day - 4 p.m. Saturday
Ballard at Male - 6 p.m. Saturday; Ballard leading 3-0, 0:58 1Q
St. Xavier at Central - 7 p.m. Saturday
Eastern at Butler - 7 p.m. Saturday
Spencer County at Collins - 7:30 p.m. Saturday
Shelby County at Oldham County - 7:30 p.m. Saturday
Bullitt East at Pleasure Ridge Park - 7:30 p.m. Saturday
South Oldham at Nelson County - 7:30 p.m. Saturday (game moved from SOHS)
Fairdale at Fern Creek - 4 p.m. Sunday
