Kentucky game time, channel announced

South Carolina's first true home game of 2017 will be under the lights at Williams-Brice.

The conference announced Tuesday the Gamecocks' Sept. 16 matchup against Kentucky will kickoff at 7:30 p.m. EST and be televised on the SEC Network.

It's the first time since 2015 the Gamecocks have a home opener at night with the last one coming in 2015 against Kentucky.

South Carolina, which has lost the last three matchups against the Wildcats, will look to stop the skid when they travel to Columbia in Week 3.

The Gamecocks' first two games of the year against NC State and Missouri will be televised on ESPN and ESPN 2, respectively.

Kickoff of the opening game against the Wolfpack is at 3 p.m. EST on Sept. 2 and kickoff at Missouri is slated for 7 p.m. EST on Sept. 9.
