Kedon Slovis transfers to BYU

Where was Kedon Slovis going to land after he announced his decision to transfer from the University of Pittsburgh? We now have our answer.

Slovis transferred to BYU on Christmas Eve, giving the Cougars their new quarterback for 2023 and their move to the Big 12.

You know the story with Slovis: He had a promising 2019 freshman season at USC under Clay Helton and Graham Harrell, but then shoulder problems got in the way of his 2020 season. He clearly did not (could not) throw the ball with maximum zip. His 2021 season was also affected by injuries.

He transferred to Pitt for the 2022 season, and was negatively affected by the fact that Jordan Addison, a Pitt receiver, transferred out of the program and came to USC to play with Caleb Williams. Slovis lacked the elite, game-changing receiver who would have made his life a lot easier. Now Slovis is headed for Provo. We wish him the very best in 2023 and beyond:
