KC Current re-sign beloved midfielder Lo LaBonta to two-year deal

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Current are bringing back another veteran in their fan favorite midfielder Lo LaBonta.

LaBonta and recently re-signed midfielder Desiree Scott are the two Current veterans who were with Kansas City’s first NWSL team, FC Kansas City, which was coached by their current head coach Vlatko Andonovski.

“Lo is someone that brings creativity to this team, but also brings a little different player,” Andonovski said on Wednesday. “She loves this team, loves the organization, loves the community. And is a perfect example of a role model of a KC Current player.
