Kate Middleton Says That Prince William Struggled With Becoming A Father
The Duchess of Cambridge has disclosed that the Duke of Cambridge struggled when he became a father for the first time.
The royal couple are currently expecting their third child, and are already parents to Prince George, four, and Princess Charlotte, two.
Kate had been attending a royal engagement at the Hornsey Road Children's Centre on Tuesday (14th November) when she told single father Billy, who is bringing up seven-month daughter Violet on his own, that William initially had difficulties with parenthood after Billy admitted his early struggles as a dad.
After speaking with Kate, Billy said (via Hello!): 'She was saying William was sort of similar and I just wanted to let her know how Family Action have been there for me and I think they need more support.'
Kate also spoke of George's love of helicopters to a mother named Michelle and her young son Jacob, after Michelle had shared Jacob's interest in planes.
Michelle added: 'She was asking about what Jacob liked and he said he liked aeroplanes and she was asking if he'd seen a Spitfire and we said we liked going to the Science Museum and RAF museum.
'She was saying how George likes helicopters-she was saying about the top floor of the Science Museum where the helicopters are.'
The 35-year-old royal, who is expecting her third child in April, looked elegant in a cream coat by Goat, which she wore with black knee-high Russell & Bromley boots.
Kate had been scheduled to visit Hornsey Road Children's Centre in September, but had been forced to postpone after suffering from severe morning sickness.
The centre offers support and help to expectant and new mothers, including antenatal and postnatal services, child support, and family support services.
Meanwhile, Kate recently revealed that she was 'getting used' to leaving Prince George at the school gates.
She had been unable to drop Prince George off to school on his first day at Thomas' in Battersea due to suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum, but said she was now well enough to do the school run.
