Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes once again exchange pleasantries before battle

The last time we saw Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes next to each other on a football field it, uh, did not go according to plan.

At least not for the Chiefs quarterback.

The Bills beat the Chiefs on the road, 20-17, earlier this season. A controversial penalty played a part. But taking headlines alongside that following the contest was Mahomes.

When he shook his counterparts’ hand, he did a lot of complaining about the call. The Bills QB didn’t have much to say, and how could you blame him?

Nonetheless, we’ve seen much more tightness between the two, from other handshakes, golf outing, you name it, these two are competitors but share a friendship too.

That was on full display once again this week.

Ahead of facing off in another playoff battle, Mahomes and Allen exchanged numerous compliments through the media.
