Tuesday's game: Columbus 7, Buffalo 4

Recap: Jose Tena was 3 for 4 with three RBIs and Micah Pries was 2 for 4 with a home run for the Clippers in the series opener. Columbus scored all seven of its runs in the fourth, fifth and sixth innings after falling behind 2-0. The Clippers used seven pitchers, with John Doxakis (1-0) getting the win after allowing two runs on two hits in two innings. Columbus catcher Bryan Lavastida was 1 for 3 and is hitting .346 this season.
