Jordan Poole removes all trace of Warriors tenure from Instagram

After spending the first four years of his career with the Golden State Warriors, Jordan Poole was traded to the Washington Wizards in a deal that saw Chris Paul head to San Francisco. Poole’s tenure with Golden State had been under a microscope for the entirety of the 2022-23 NBA season following an incident with Draymond Green during their training camp last summer.

Since his trade, Poole and Green have both been involved in a social media spat, and rumors surrounding a distaste toward Poole from multiple members of the roster have surfaced. Now, it would appear that Poole wants to put his time with the Warriors behind him, as he’s made the decision to remove all traces of his tenure with the franchise from his Instagram account.

During his four years with Golden State, Poole won his first championship ring as a member of the 2022 roster and will carry that experience, and those memories, with him for the rest of his life.

By being sent to the Wizards, Poole has been given an opportunity to establish himself as one of the team’s star players. Washington entered into a rebuilding phase this summer, and the duo of Poole and Kyle Kuzma could be the pairing they look to build around moving forward.

Poole’s exit from the Warriors may have been messy, but he’s found himself in an ideal situation where he can finally be the lead guard for a franchise that will allow him the freedom to grow his game while playing through his mistakes.
