Muskego 4-year-old Olivia "Liv" Stoop, who has a rare fatal genetic disorder, received a rare gift that put smiles on her family's faces — a personalized signed football from Green Bay Packers' star quarterback, Jordan Love.

The football, with its Green Bay Packers logo, has Love's signature and number and the words "Stay Strong."

"Jordan Love went out of his way to send Liv a personally signed football!" her family wrote on their Saving Liv's Facebook page. "We are huge Packers fans, so this gift brought tears to our eyes. We continue to be humbled by compassionate, generous people."

Liv was diagnosed with Sanfilippo Syndrome Type B on March 28, 2022. It is a disease that is compared to late-stage Alzheimer's, but for children.

According to the Cure Sanfilippo Foundation website, Sanfilippo Syndrome is a terminal, degenerative disease that causes children to lose all the skills they've gained, and suffer seizures and movement disorders. The general life expectancy is in the child's teenage years.

After Liv's third birthday on Dec. 3, 2022, her parents, Erin and Tyler, launched a $1 million fundraising campaign to raise money so promising research can get to a clinical trial. According to Liv's GoFundMe page, this amount would allow Liv, if she qualifies, or another child, to get a clinical trial. As of Jan. 20, this campaign raised $422,512.
