Jordan Addison has nothing on this! Watch eighth grader R.J. Addison’s one-handed touchdown catch

It wasn’t quite Friday night lights but eighth grader R.J. Addison turned dusk into primetime with a tremendous one-handed catch.

And perhaps the best part of the play? Addison didn’t break stride as he ran 65 yards for a touchdown for Rudd Middle School (Pinson, Alabama).

On what was a nicely thrown ball from his quarterback, Addison’s go-route saw him catch the ball between three defenders. Using a good burst, he outpaced a diving defensive back for the touchdown.

Talk about a big play for Addison’s team on the stroke of halftime.

While the one-handed grab is certainly going to get some buzz, let’s not overlook the solid route he ran or the fact that he made the play in stride while building up speed into the end zone.

How did he do that?

OK, Jordan Addison, you’re on the clock to make a bigger play this weekend in the NFL. Not going to lie, won’t be easy though.
