Cincinnati Bengals center Ted Karras secured a $25,000 donation to the Village of Merici from quarterback Joe Burrow, and all Karras apparently had to do was agree to get his first tattoo.

Burrow made the donation as part of Karras' St. Tatty's Day event to benefit Karras' favorite charity. Karras, the Bengals' starting center for the past two seasons who turned 31 on Friday, said he'd get a "Cincy" tattoo.

Bengals.com's Geoff Hobson called it "the most expensive tattoo in Bengals' history."

In February, Karras attended the NFL Honors show in Las Vegas as the Bengals' nominee for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award.

In January, Karras shared a video via Twitter in which he thanked "Who Dey Nation" for helping him win the top prize in Nationwide's Charity Challenge. The contest allowed NFL fans to support their favorite nominees via fan vote, and Nationwide awarded a $35,000 donation to Karras' charity partner, the Village of Merici, a nonprofit organization and supportive community for adults living with disabilities in Karras' hometown of Indianapolis.

The Cincy Hat has helped Karras raise more than $1.2 million for the Village of Merici.
