Jimmies men's golf compete at GPAC Championships

Apr. 30—BEATRICE, Neb. — The University of Jamestown men's golf team finished fifth in the GPAC Championships on Tuesday, April 30, at the Beatrice Country Club.

The Jimmies finished with a score of 49-over-par, with a total score of 913 (308-286-319), three strokes behind Dakota Wesleyan University (South Dakota) for fourth.

The Jimmies highest finisher was Max Noffsinger in eighth place at nine-over-par (76-72-77). The Jimmies' Aidan Hall finished in a three-way tie for ninth at 10-over-par (77-71-78), three strokes ahead of his teammate, Jackson Worner, who finished in a two-way tie for 15th at 13-over-par (76-70-83). The Jimmies Gehrig Geiss finished in a tie for 21st at 17-over-par (79-73-81) and Ben Schaefer finished in a tie for 36th at 22-over-par (79-74-85).

The Northwestern Red Raiders won the event by two strokes at 36-over-par with a total score of 900 (299-299-302). The individual event was won by the Red Raiders' Jackson Laven who finished at even par (69-71-76).
