Jim Harbaugh briefly discusses NFL job prospects at March for Life rally

Having just interviewed for the open Los Angeles Chargers and Atlanta Falcons jobs in the NFL, Michigan football head coach Jim Harbaugh made his way to Washington D.C. to take part in the March for Life, an annual rally against abortion in the United States capital.

Harbaugh didn’t just march, he introduced speaker Benjamin Watson, the former NFL tight end. Afterward, he met with media personality Jon Root, who not only asked him about his participation in the event but also what he’s been up to since the national championship win as well as his NFL prospects.

As far as the aftermath of the national championship game, Harbaugh speaks as someone who isn’t looking forward to not being around the program in Ann Arbor.

“It’s been incredible. Just back to work, getting ready for the next season,” Harbaugh said. “There’s a passing of the torch that’s awesome. Just incredible to be here today and to see the testimony of so many that are here.”

But, Harbaugh has still interviewed for NFL head coaching positions and could take a job elsewhere if offered and the opportunity is right. So, how does he weigh that?

Harbaugh says he relies on his faith as well as his family to help him make the right decision should it come to that.

“I just take the counsel from God, and the Holy Spirit and Mr. Jack Harbaugh, my dad, and my wife, Sarah. But just taking the advice, just living one day at a time,” Harbaugh said. “One day at a time, one game at a time, one play at a time.”
