Jets Thursday Week 6 injury report: Jermaine Johnson looking unlikely to play

The New York Jets may be without one of their top pass-rushers for Sunday’s battle with the Green Bay Packers.

Defensive end Jermaine Johnson missed his second day of practice this week and he continues to deal with an ankle injury suffered during last week’s win over the Dolphins. It’s looking unlikely that Johnson will be available for the Green Bay game. It could mean more snaps for Bryce Huff or the activation of Vinny Curry from injured reserve as a result.

Duane Brown (shoulder) and Quincy Williams (ankle) were both limited again Thursday while Carl Lawson (ankle) and CJ Mosley (hip) both improved to full participation and both should be good to go for Sunday.

For the Packers, Aaron Rodgers practiced in full after missing Wednesday with a right thumb injury. There was never any doubt on his status.

LB Tipa Galeai (hamstring) and WR Christian Watson (hamstring) both missed a second day of practice this week. OT David Bakhtiati (knee), OL Elgton Jenkins (knee) and DL Devonte Wyatt (quad) were all limited for the second day in a row.

One key addition to Green Bay’s report was LB Rashan Gary, who appeared on Thursday’s report with a toe injury and was limited.
