Jeff Goldblum Just Recreated His Iconic 'Jurassic Park' Thirst Trap

From Men's Health

When Jeff Goldblum speaks, the internet listens. So when the infinitely memeable star of Thor: Ragnarok and The Fly took to his Instagram account to challenge people to vote, it’s no surprise that thousands of people responded.

The deal, as Goldblum explained, was that if 1,000 people went to his link at headcount.org (where they can check their registration, learn how to vote early, or register), he’d recreate a iconic look from Jurassic Park. You probably know the one: black-clad Dr. Ian Malcolm, shirt unbuttoned, lounging with a brooding intensity that instantly made him a sex symbol—and spawned dozens of imitations. (The most fascinating-disconcerting was probably the giant Goldblum that temporarily loomed over visitors in London.)

Goldblum had previously reunited with Jurassic Park co-stars Sam Neill and Laura Dern to encourage voting, but the offer to appear shirtless again must have helped put him over the top. As of this writing, the post has more than 320,000 views, and more than 3,000 people used the headcount.org link.

The ever-game Goldblum made good on his word, donning a black button-down and what appear to be leather pants. His look is slightly more demure than the original from 27 years ago—he’s showing off a little less of his chest—and his hair is shorter and greyer, with forelocks dangly coyly over his eye. He’s clearly leaning into his “silver fox professor aesthetic,” and knowing Goldblum, he’s enjoying every minute of it. And in this case, he was thirst-trapping for a good cause, reminding people how important it is to vote.
