The Arizona Cardinals did not practice on Wednesday but did get back to the field on Thursday to hold a full practice. They also released their second injury report of the week.

It has a lot of the same, but one player was upgraded and another downgraded.

WR DeAndre Hopkins (knee), CB Robert Alford (pectoral), RB James Conner (ankle), DL Zach Kerr (ribs), DL Corey Peters (knee), OL Justin Pugh (calf, illness)

We know Hopkins is going to have surgery to repair his torn MCL. He will go on injured reserve. Alford and Conner remain day-to-day, so Friday’s practice will be important.

Pugh was downgraded from limited and had an illness added to his injury. Since center Rodney Hudson landed on the COVID list, there is a chance that this non-COVID illness results in a positive test. We will see on Friday.

Limited participation

DL Leki Fotu (shoulder), DL Jordan Phillips (thumb)

Phillips’ status remained the same. Fotu was upgraded after being listed as a DNP Wednesday.
