Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence named to Pro Football Focus 25 Under 25 Ranking
Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence was named to the Top 25 Under 25 ranking by Pro Football Focus.
The ranking features some of the best players in the NFL under the age of 25 including Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud, Baltimore Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton and Cincinnati Bengals receiver Ja’Marr Chase, who Lawrence edged out in the top ten.
Entering his fourth year in the league, the starting quarterback for the Jaguars ranked No. 3 on the list, with offensive lineman Penei Sewell and cornerback Sauce Gardner in the top two spots.

Lawrence is coming off an up-and-down season, largely due to the string of injuries he suffered. He was limited in practice for several weeks and broke his consecutive starts streak when he missed the home finale against the Carolina Panthers.
But when he was on, he was on, lighting up the stats sheets and producing some of the best games of his career.
Lawrence passed for 4,016 yards with 21 touchdowns and 14 interceptions last season—an area in need of improvement, self-admittingly. It ballooned his career numbers to 11,770 passing yards, 58 touchdowns and 39 interceptions.
Lawrence’s camp is amid contract discussions and the indication is the team would like to get it done before the season.
Still, as the two sides continue negotiations, Lawrence has been a participant in the offseason program and has shown why he’s one of the most valued young players in the league.
Other standouts to make the top 25 ranking include Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts, Houston Texans cornerback Derek Stingley, Denver Broncos Pat Surtain II and Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Trent McDuffie.
