Jaguars no match for Brookhaven Bears
Nov. 23—FARMER'S BRANCH — Dallas College-Brookhaven spanked Jacksonville College, 106-70 Tuesday night in the second meeting of the season between the Bears and the Jaguars.
Brookhaven rocketed out of the gate to claim a 57-33 lead at the break and never looked back.
JC (3-4) was paced in scoring by Ronald Davis, who tossed in a season-high 17 points, to go along with four rebounds.
Jared Duplechain scored 12 points for the Jags and came down with three boards.
Brookhaven's Grant Jessen scored a game-best 28 points.
The Jagsters' next action is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, when they open NJCAA Region XIV play by entertaining Navarro College (5-3).
